Lady Gaga Is Engaged to Michael Polansky
The singer confirmed the news by introducing the entrepreneur as "my fiancé" to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris
Lady Gaga is engaged!
The singer, 38, and her longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur and tech investor Michael Polansky, are set to be married, she revealed to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In a TikTok posted by Attal on Sunday, July 28, Gaga can be heard introducing Polansky as "my fiancé" as the trio spectated a swimming event together.
PEOPLE has reached out to reps for both Gaga and Polansky for comment.
Gaga and Polansky were first romantically linked in 2020 when they were photographed kissing at a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas. Just weeks later, they went public with their relationship during a PDA-filled weekend in Miami for Super Bowl 2020.
At the time, Gaga shared a photo on Instagram of the pair cuddled up on a yacht, writing, "We had so much fun in Miami."
A source close to the 13-time Grammy Award winner later told PEOPLE that the couple quarantined together during the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. The insider said they hunkered down at Gaga's house and grew close.
In January 2021, when Gaga was invited to perform at President Joe Biden's inauguration in Washington, D.C., Polansky was by her side. A source told PEOPLE at the time that she was "happy" with Polansky and "grateful" to have his support. The insider also said Gaga introduced him to people backstage at the event as "my boyfriend."

Lady Gaga and Michael PolanskyLater that same year, Gaga made a rare comment about her relationship in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, following the return of her dogs Koji and Gustav after they were taken during an attack on her dog walker.
"My dogs and the man that I love are my whole life," she told the outlet, in a nod to Polansky.

A source told PEOPLE in November 2021 that while the two didn't "seem rushed to get engaged," they were already acting "like a married couple."
The pair, who share a passion for charitable work, also enjoy teaming up on their philanthropic endeavors. They have worked together to fundraise for various causes including the One World: Together at Home concert, which the "Bad Romance" singer organized. Gaga also revealed during an interview with MSNBC's Morning Joe that Polansky was building an app for her Born This Way Foundation, which supports mental health initiatives.

Over the years, Gaga and Polansky have been spotted out together frequently. In October 2023, after the House of Gucci star made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live, the couple stepped out to the cast afterparty, where they were seen holding hands as they arrived.

“He let her shine and made sure she had everything she needed," the insider said.
“She was smiling and laughing all night,” they added. “It was a fun celebration.”
Gaga was previously engaged to Christian Carino. They split in early 2019 after two years together. In February 2015, she got engaged to Friday Night Lights star Taylor Kinney but the pair broke off the engagement the following year.
