Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert Are the 'Country Music Duo We All Needed' in New Performance Footage
From Jelly Roll to Keith Urban, country star Lainey Wilson has been successfully teaming up with some of the biggest names in music—but it could be her collaboration with fellow singer Miranda Lambert that has fans most excited of all.
In a recent Instagram post, Wilson and Lambert can be seen and heard performing the song "Good Horses," a track from Wilson's upcoming album Whirlwind, and people couldn't get enough of the duet.
"This is the country music duo we all needed," raved one commenter, while another explained, "The two of you together is seriously perfect."
"Lainey and the Queen??? What?!?!? Yaaaaaas!!!!!!!??," a third weighed in, as someone else noted, "Oh this is going to be really country!!"
Wilson and Lambert performed "Good Horses" together when Wilson headlined two nights in Nashville earlier this summer.

According to Whiskey Riff, the Instagram clip features the tune's studio track layered over video from the live performance. The lyrics to the song are about a woman who longs to be free in her relationship: “If you wanna love me you don’t need a rope / You just need to know / I don’t need a compass / I don’t need a saddle / Let go of the reigns baby let me unravel / If you wanna love me you don’t need a rope / You just need to know / Good horses come home.”
As Parade reported previously, Wilson's "Country's Cool Again" tour has been a huge success. On July 25, the singer shared a sweet interaction with a young fan in a video posted to Instagram: After bringing a little girl up onstage with her, Wilson led her in a series of positive affirmations and crowned her "cowgirl of the night."
"Crowning a cowgirl of the night has been one of my favorite moments on this tour y’all," Wilson captioned the video.
