Landon Barker Releases Debut Single 'Friends with Your EX,' Featuring Dad Travis Barker on Drums
The pop-punk musician shared the new song and its music video, starring his girlfriend Charli D'Amelio, on Friday
Landon Barker is taking after his father.
The rising artist, 19, and son of Travis Barker, 47, released his debut single, “Friends with Your EX,” on Friday. His first song is out on his father’s label DTA Records and features the Blink-182 star on production and drums.
Barker proves he’s going down the pop-punk lane on “Friends with Your EX.” The new track is an alt-rock song that’s dying to be screamed along to, with its blaring chorus and Barker’s signature sharp percussion.

Lyrically, the song explores a messy teenage tryst. “I was friends with your ex / You were with him when we met / Guеss he hasn't found out yet / But I know he's gonna kill mе when he sees me with you,” the rocker sings.
Barker released the single along with its music video, starring his TikTok star girlfriend Charli D’Amelio, 19. The extremely SoCal video — featuring garage band practice, drives with the top down, skate sessions and house parties — finds the singer fantasizing about his bandmate’s girlfriend, played by D’Amelio. Gen Z talent, including model Chazdon Jeffery and TikTokkers Carl Dawson, Joe Chavez, Michael Tua and Zack Lugo, also make appearances.

In the clip posted on Monday, the social media personality and reality star, 44, lip-synced and danced along to a snippet of the track.

Barker is one of the six children in Kardashian and the Blink-182 drummer’s blended family. Travis also shares son daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kardashian shares sons Reign Aston, 8, and Mason Dash, 13, plus daughter Penelope Scotland, 11, with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.
“Friends with Your Ex” comes after about 15 months of dating between the musician and D’Amelio.

In June, the performer got a tattoo of his girlfriend’s eye.
The Dancing with the Stars winner spoke to PEOPLE about her beau’s ink. She said, "Basically, he was like, 'I have to get a tattoo tomorrow. What should I get?’ And I was like, 'Oh my goodness, you should get my face. He was like, 'Really? I'll do it.' and I was like, 'Rock, paper, scissors,' and I won."
Although she “didn't think he was actually going to go through with it,” she admitted, "It actually really, really looks like my eye, which is crazy. But I think it's so cool.”
