Lea Michele & 'Glee' Cast Remember Cory Monteith on 3rd Anniversary of His Death
Lea Michele and the cast of Glee took to social media to share touching tributes in honor of Cory Monteith on Wednesday, the third anniversary of his tragic death.
“I know everyday you’re watching over me, and smiling. Love and miss you Cory, everyday, but today a little more,” Michele wrote on Twitter along with a snapshot of Monteith at a beach.

Naya Rivera, Mathew Morrison, Kevin McHale, and other members of the Glee cast also sent out dedications through social media. “The minutes become days and the days become years…but you always remain so close. I miss you, Brother” Morrison tweeted.
Sharing a similarly emotional admission, McHale wrote, “Today I woke up thinking about ur smile & how infectious it. U made us laugh & feel loved everyday.”
“Always missed and never forgotten,” tweeted Rivera, along with the hashtag #3YearsWithoutCory, which became a trending topic on Twitter.

Chord Overstreet, whose Glee character Sam Evans had a playful rivalry with Monteith’s character, Finn Hudson, also took to Instagram to pay his respects. “There’s no one quite like you,” he wrote next to a photo with Monteith. “The greatest guy. The biggest heart. I love you man!”
Jenna Ushkowitz also took to Instagram to post an adorable photo of Monteith sitting behind a drum set. “The time may pass but the warmth of your generous soul and the humility in your goofball nature will never fade,” she wrote. “You are and always will be our quarterback. We miss you, friend. #3yearswithoutcory.”
Monteith died of a drug overdose in 2013. His passing came less than two months after he checked into rehab
