LeBron James’ eldest son, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., was recently hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest.

The 18-year-old was rushed to the hospital following a basketball workout at the University of Southern California on Monday, July 24. “Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital,” a spokesperson for the James family told TMZ on Tuesday, July 25. “He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information."

Bronny — whom LeBron and his wife, Savannah James, welcomed in October 2004 — is currently in his freshman year at USC and is a member of the school’s basketball team. (The couple also share son Bryce, 16, and daughter Zhuri, 8.)

The family’s spokesperson continued: “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”
