Lenny Kravitz's Wild Gym Outfit Proves He's Still a Rockstar
Over the course of his decades-long career, singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz has become as notorious for his rock star style as much his music. The 59-year-old's uniform typically consists of leather pants with either a tank top or wide-open shirt or jacket, exposing his toned arms or chest.
So it should come as little surprise that Kravitz doesn't deviate from his usual outfits even when working out at the gym. After all, this is one man who wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of sweatpants or athletic shorts.
"Thank God for today! Grateful. Never been better," the "Are You Gonna Go My Way" singer captioned a short video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, taken at Equinox Hudson Yards in Manhattan. "There are no shortcuts so seize your day. It is all possible. Love!"
In the clip, Kravitz is seen wearing a pair of, what else, leather pants with what appears to be a see-through mesh tank and pair of boots while performing reps of a core and shoulder press combination exercise with a weighted barbell.
Suffice it to say, Kravitz's gym clothes didn't go unnoticed by fans. "Who trains in leather pants??? Only Lenny does," commented one user along with several laughing emojis. "Reasons why I haven’t started working out: I don’t own any leather pants," chimed in another fan. "Yeah, that’s it."
"My man never breaks character. Full time rock star!" gushed yet another user.
In a 2020 interview with Men's Health, Kravitz explained that his longtime exercise workout regimen with his personal trainer involves "fasted cardio sessions in the mornings, weightlifting during the day, and more cardio just before bed."
"My best shape is not behind me," Kravitz said at the time. "It’s in front of me right now. We keep moving that bar as we get older.”
