Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke Reveal More Toxic Points About Their Relationship
The more we learn about Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s relationship on Summer House, the more evident it becomes that their breakup is a blessing in disguise. The toxicity between the two friends-turned-fiances was layers of bad. Carl calling off the engagement on camera was just the icing on the cake to a long season of drama between the two. And as we head into the reunion, it only keeps getting more intense.
The Summer House Season 8 reunion aired this week and Carl and Lindsay came face-to-face to unpack a messy summer. Lindsay still maintains that she was blindsided by the breakup, even though everyone with eyes on their relationship knew that they should’ve never walked down the aisle. Carl has been defending his side of the story too. Ultimately, it’s leading to even more toxic discussions that reveal more dark moments from their relationship.
Carl and Lindsay’s final showdown
During the Summer House reunion, Andy Cohen asked Lindsay about recording arguments with Carl. Lindsay didn’t deny it at all. “Out of safety,” she confirmed. Yikes. She added that she’s locked herself in the bathroom a couple of times during their argument. Carl shot back by saying he also had to lock himself in the guest room of their shared apartment to avoid the volatility.
Andy put it the best, “You wanted to marry each other?!” Exactly. The revelations during the reunion only continued to sway towards toxic, with both Carl and Lindsay accusing each other of yelling, gaslighting, and every other bad behavior in the book. Ultimately, we should all be glad that this relationship never made it down the aisle, or it undoubtedly would’ve kept getting worse.
