Lindsay Hubbard Doubles Down on Split: ‘Extremely Blindsiding’
Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s massive breakup has been fueling the Summer House drama this year. Season 8 is can’t-miss TV, partially because of the way the couple called off their engagement on camera during the finale episode. Now, the reunion only continues to be explosive.
Carl and Lindsay will undoubtedly have a huge showdown during Part 2 of the Summer House reunion. They threw a few back-and-forth jabs during Part 1, but we know that Bravo is about to turn up the heat. Now, thanks to a sneak peek from the upcoming episode, fans get a taste of the dynamic between Carl and Lindsay on stage.
Lindsay’s never-ending story
In an Entertainment Tonight exclusive teaser for the reunion episode, Carl and Lindsay begin to break down that fatal finale conversation. Andy Cohen reiterated that production had no idea going into filming that day that Carl was going to call it off. Regardless, Lindsay has a story and she’s sticking to it. “It was extremely blindsiding,” she reiterated. “It literally looked like he had been planning it for the summer.”
Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke could not sit silently on the sidelines while Lindsay continued the narrative. Amanda whispered to her husband that she questioned Lindsay’s definition of the world blindside. When Lindsay went on to say that Carl was “laying the groundwork to villainize” her all summer long, Amanda couldn’t keep her comments to herself. “Oh here we go again,” Amanda groaned. Kyle also defended Carl against accusations that he premeditated the breakup.
The Summer House reunion teaser ended with Andy proclaiming that he thought Lindsay would be the one to call off the engagement with Carl. Several cast members, specifically Paige DeSorbo, agreed. What an alternate universe that would be.
The Summer House reunion concludes Thursday at 9/8c on Bravo.
