Lindsay Lohan reveals engagement to Bader Shammas: 'My love. My life.'
Lindsay Lohan has some "grool" news: She's engaged!
The "Mean Girls" alum, 35, revealed her engagement to Bader Shammas on Sunday morning with social-media selfies of the couple hugging and beaming as Lohan showed off her engagement ring.
"My love. My life. My family. My future," Lohan wrote on Instagram, tagging Shammas and adding a ring emoji.
She was previously engaged to Russian socialite Egor Tarabasov before the two split up in 2016 following an incident in which Tarabasov was filmed physically assaulting Lohan on a beach in Mykonos, Greece.
"If anyone has gone through being abused, it was me on that beach, and now I own it," she told USA TODAY in 2019. "That's my revenge."
Lohan has been living abroad in Dubai for the past few years, though she been open about her desire to resume her movie career.
Acting "scared me for a long time, because every time I was doing a movie, people would look at my personal life and that would overshadow the film," Lohan previously told USA TODAY, reflecting on a 2018 acting gig. "But (shooting) in London for 'Sick Note,' there was no one around and it was great, and I was like, 'I'm ready to go again.' I think I just needed a minute."

Lohan is slated to co-star in a Netflix Christmas movie alongside "Glee" alum Chord Overstreet.
The film, the title of which has yet to be revealed, follows the story of a “newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress,” played by Lohan, “who finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner,” played by Overstreet. A skiing accident leaves Lohan’s character with a case of “total amnesia” as Christmas approaches, according to a press release. The rom-com is scheduled for a 2022 release.

A former child star, Lohan first made a splash in 1998, starring in a double role opposite Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson in the Disney remake of “The Parent Trap.” As a teenager, Lohan made her mark on 2000s cinema and pop culture, starring in teen dramas such as “Freaky Friday,” “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” and “Mean Girls.”
Lohan has not appeared in a movie since her 2019 role in the horror-thriller "Among the Shadows," according to IMDb. That same year also saw the "Parent Trap" star enter the reality TV arena with the MTV show "Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club," which followed Lohan as she expanded her nightclub and managed staff at her luxury beach club.
