Listen Out & Listen In Festivals Announce 2024 Dates, New 16+ Age Policy
Twin Aussie dance music festivals Listen Out and Listen In are back in action this spring, and opening their doors to younger punters. Listen Out will once again be bringing the rave to Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney across September and October, while Listen In will be returning to Adelaide on Sunday, 29th September.
Maintaining its resilience in the face of a tenuous music festival landscape in 2024, Listen Out promoters have pledged that this year’s event “will stay true to its genre-focused lineup of International and local Hip Hop and Electronic artists”.
“Listen Out will stay true to its genre-focused lineup”
Last year’s lineup featured the likes of Skrillex, Ice Spice, JPEGMAFIA, Lil Uzi Vert and more, with local representation from the likes of Young Franco, Mallrat, Ayebatonye, Kobie Dee and others.
Notably, all Listen Out shows will be open to punters aged 16 years and over this time around, allowing the newest generation of festival fans to attend the event for the first time.
“It’s been a very tough time for the Australian music festival industry and we are thrilled to be back in 2024, welcoming returning and first time attendees through the gates,” organisers said in a press statement.
