‘Little Drummer Girl’ Trailer: First Look at Alexander Skarsgard, Michael Shannon in Spy Thriller (Video)
Never trust a spy.
The first trailer for AMC’s upcoming miniseries “Little Drummer Girl” was released Monday, and it features Alexander Skarsgard, Michael Shannon and Florence Pugh in an international game of espionage.
The 1970s-set thriller is based on John le Carré’s novel of the same name, and tells the story of young actress Charlie (Pugh), who gets caught up in Israeli intelligence officer Becker’s complex and high-stakes plot orchestrated by Spymaster Kurtz (Shannon).

The six-part series premieres on AMC on Nov. 19 at 9 p.m., and additional episodes will air on consecutive nights, Nov. 20 and 21 at 9 p.m.
“Little Drummer Girl” comes from the executive producers of “The Night Manager” and marks Park Chan-wook’s television directorial debut. It is produced by The Ink Factory in partnership with BBC One and AMC.
