Long running HGTV show set to shoot scenes at multiple Wilmington locations
A popular show on the HGTV network has filed permits to shoot in Wilmington.
"House Hunters," a long-running show that follows buyers as they decide whether to buy a house, will shoot "B-roll" in Wilmington on March 7, according to permits filed with the city.
Shooting locations include the Kenan Plaza and fountain at Fifth Avenue and Market Street; Thalian/City Hall; Water and Princess streets; the Wilmington Riverwalk; Dram Tree Park; Greenfield Lake Park; Riverfront Park/Live Oak Bank Pavilion; and South Front Street between Princess and Orange streets.
According to the permit, "This is B-roll only to get area footage with no actors or dialogue. The camera crew of two people will spend up to, but no more than, two hours at each location and will 'blend' with all regular activity without interfering with normal park use."

Presumably, "House Hunters" will be filming other scenes for a show based in or around Wilmington, but information about that was not immediately available.
