A look inside Grinchmas 2018 at Universal Studios Hollywood
The annual Grinchmas celebration is in full swing at Universal Studios Hollywood. Every winter, guests can experience the holiday cheer of Whoville, and this year is no exception. The Grinchmas celebration has only gotten bigger and better.
Yahoo Entertainment got a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at all Grinchmas has to offer, and we can assure you that your heart will grow three sizes during your visit. The celebration features three musical shows, delicious treats, a magical tree lighting and fun activities for Whos of all ages.
The park is complete with a 60-foot crooked Grinchmas tree that you truly have to see to believe. Each night starting around 5:30 PM, there are hourly tree lightings that will leave you feeling filled with holiday spirit.
Park visitors have the opportunity meet and interact with the Grinch himself, who definitely succeeds at bringing the character to life. You may be waiting in line for at least 45 minutes to meet the Grinch, but he is definitely worth the wait.
After a visit with the Grinch, you have to meet his adorable dog, Max, who rocks his iconic antlers and can do tons of impressive tricks. His meet-and-greet location is right near the entrance, so you can’t and won’t want to miss him.
Whoville also offers a full array of delicious holiday treats. There are festive cupcakes, green cotton candy, egg nog milkshakes and more. Our favorite is the giant Grinch donut, which is definitely big enough to share!
Make sure to mingle with the locals because you may even end up getting to meet Cindy Lou Who! All of the Who-villains are friendly and are willing to stop for plenty of photo ops.
Grinchmas will be up and running through Dec. 30 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Don’t forget to stop by to enjoy the festivities while you still can!
