Love Is Blind returns for season 8 on none other than Valentine’s Day 2025 and with it comes an entirely new cast of singles hoping to find their soulmate. Hosts Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, return to help a group of Minnesotians through the experiment and fans are curious to learn more about the stars of season 8, including Daniel Hastings.

Who Is Daniel Hastings From ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8?

While this might be Daniel’s reality TV debut, starring in Love Is Blind season 8 wasn’t his first time in front of professional cameras. According to his profile, he’s a former Gerber baby model. Now that his modeling days are behind him, Daniel works as a sales account executive.

Daniel has been inspired by his parents’ long-lasting marriage and hopes that his time on Love Is Blind will lead to a similar situation for him. He “is intent on building a family with a woman who appreciates his sensitive side” and hopes “that she’ll love him — and his tendency to put his foot in his mouth — unconditionally.” Daniel also added that out of all of the qualities he’s developed over the years, he puts “his openness and willingness to ask for help” at the very top of the list.

During the Love Is Blind season 8 trailer, fans caught a quick glimpse at Daniel and his time in the pods, and he spoke about his sister.

“My sister was born blind,” Daniel explained. “She just loves people without seeing them. If I could just be a little bit like her, that’d be cool.”

On his page, it’s clear that if there’s one holiday that Daniel is a fan of, it’s Christmas. Every year the images for the cards seem to get more and more extreme. The most recent Christmas card photo he shared featured him standing in a kitchen wearing only an apron and he’s covered in flour as he appears to be baking batches of Christmas cookies. The kitchen cabinets and doors had been covered in festive wrapping paper in the background.

“Christmas Card 2022 – trying to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup (and flour),” Daniel captioned the carousel of photos.

Other pictures show Daniel enjoying time with friends and family, including his parents. In one post, Daniel congratulated his parents on their 30th anniversary and added, “Happy 30th to these beauties. My wife and I have big shoes to fill.”
