Love Is Blind: Which Season 7 Couples Are We Rooting For? And Who Do We Hope Breaks It Off?
Warning: The following contains spoilers from Love Is Blind Season 7, Episodes 1-6.
Love Is Blind is getting political as it travels to Washington D.C. But which couples have our vote of confidence? And which do we hope to strike from the reality TV record?

Season 7 of Netflix’s reality dating series, which dropped its first six episodes on Wednesday, looks much like seasons past: A group of singles meet potential partners in adjoined rooms — called pods — in hopes that they might fall in love without the distraction of physical appearance. But there is one notable difference in the Washington D.C.-set Season 7 — contestants are being transparent about their political ideologies.
From Stephen talking about voting for Trump in the 2016 election, to Marissa and Ramses discussing gender roles, the series is clearly leaning into its setting. And for once, we’re seeing conversations that more closely resemble what might happen on a date in the real world.
But those conversations also allow for us viewers to cast clearer judgements on our contestants — and judge, we will! Below, we’re breaking down every Season 7 couple and offering our own predictions for how they might end up. What are your Love Is Blind Season 7 predictions? Sound off in the comments!
Stephen and Monica
This woman hates this man. We can see it in her eyes every time he opens his mouth during their honeymoon. At one point, Monica even tells Stephen to stop talking — he yaps too much, she says! And if that’s already wearing on Monica, it’s only a matter of time before Stephen’s desperate-to-please personality becomes overbearing. We were gagging (and not in a good way!) when Stephen had to check the thermostat to “make sure it’s decently warm for you” like he was working at the hotel as a customer service representative. Not to mention his fetching of Monica’s slippers and plopping them right at her feet. Stephen is down bad for Monica, but she doesn’t seem to be reciprocating!
OUR FINAL VERDICT: This one is going to end badly — we just hope Stephen can recover.
Garrett and Taylor
Garrett and Taylor have the potential to be the Love Is Blind power couple of our dreams. They’re laid back and willing to get to know each other at their own pace — which might not bode well for our entertainment, but could certainly lend itself to a successful relationship. We don’t have much to say about them because they’ve been drama-free thus far, but we are thoroughly charmed!
OUR FINAL VERDICT: We’re swooning, we’re ‘shipping, we’re falling madly in love!
Nick and Hannah
Nick is giving the kind of smooth-talking energy you’d expect from a Multi-Level Marketing titan. During the pods, we were really Team Hannah, especially after Nick’s strange reaction to Hannah sharing some of her body image insecurities. And don’t think we forgot Nick’s passive-aggressive comment about her embarrassing him when they first met by wearing such high heels.
Post-pods, the couple’s connection proves to be even more flimsy than we thought: Hotel decor — a giant decorative duck, to be specific — nearly tears it apart. While we can’t fault Hannah for getting the ick from Nick’s strange duck racing shenanigans (any normal person would), her reaction is a bit over-the-top. Plus, her leaving a list of things she doesn’t like about Nick out for him to find was messy and immature. By the end of the first batch of episodes, we can no longer publicly align ourselves with the pro-Hannah camp.
OUR FINAL VERDICT: We want them to go their separate ways so Hannah can do some growing up and Nick can become a salesman.
Leo and Brittany
We were never vibing with either of these two. Brittany is shallow and basically admits she has previously dated men for their money, and Leo is obsessed with talking about how much money he inherited. So, in many ways, they’re a perfect match? But Leo just seems off. We don’t understand his desperate outburst with Hannah, pleading her to be with him, but then turning around and professing his love for Brittany. Plus, he’s so intense. The way he smothers Brittany on the couch during their first meeting is easily one of the Top 3 most awkward Love Is Blind meetings.
OUR FINAL VERDICT: Does our opinion really even matter? Episode 5 revealed that these two didn’t make it — and producers even knew they wouldn’t last since they weren’t chosen to be followed in the rest of the series!
Tyler and Ashley
Tyler and Ashley are also contenders for Season 7 Love Is Blind power couple. They have real chemistry and affection for each other — which might not be enough to sustain a life-long commitment, but is promising for this experiment.
OUR FINAL VERDICT: We hope they’re in it for the long haul and one day become the new Love Is Blind hosts!
Ramses and Marissa
If Brittany and Leo are one of the Top 3 worst meetings, Ramses and Marissa’s meeting clearly lands them in the Top 3 cutest meetings of all time! The pair seemed genuinely excited to see each other — and they shared a pretty steamy kiss! The honeymoon was smooth sailing, and there’s little to report here!
OUR FINAL VERDICT: We are loving these two more than we ever thought possible for a Love Is Blind couple. Praying to the gods, producers, and Nick and Vanessa Lachey that they make it!
Tim and Alex
This pair confuses us. Alex hates Tim’s taste, fashion and style — and seemingly everything else about the guy. But just when Alex’s disdain appears to be verging toward break-up vibes, she leans in for a kiss. We don’t get it! Not to mention their explosive fight in Episode 6 — which happened off camera — that left Tim questioning whether he’ll continue in the relationship at all. (Alex apparently called Tim a name that he wouldn’t repeat and grabbed his mouth in an effort to make him stop talking… Yikes!) We think Alex could accompany Hannah on a journey to maturity.
OUR FINAL VERDICT: We’re hoping for a break-up. This kind of dynamic will get toxic, quick!
