'Love & Hip Hop' star Teairra Mari says she'll pursue justice after ex-lover leaks explicit images
Teairra Mari has spoken out about photos that surfaced online Wednesday of her engaged in sexual acts. The Love & Hip Hop star, also known for her song “Make Her Feel Good,” addressed the images that were shared on her own social media feeds.
Mari said she had been hacked by a former lover and planned to fight back using California’s anti-revenge-porn legislation.

The term “revenge porn” is defined as the act of posting sexually explicit photos of former sex partners in an attempt to embarrass them — or, more simply put, nonconsensual pornography. In California, violators of the misdemeanor face up to six months in jail.
Mischa Barton and Blac Chyna are among the famous women who’ve found themselves in similar situations.
In March 2017, Barton held a news conference to explain her feelings about footage that was taken of her. “My absolute worst fear was realized when I learned that someone I thought I loved and trusted was filming my most intimate and private moments, without my consent, with hidden cameras,” Barton said. “And then I learned something even worse: that someone is trying to sell these videos and make them public.”
Blac Chyna obtained a temporary restraining order against Rob Kardashian, the father of her daughter, Dream, last July, after he shared explicit images of her on social media. At the time, Kardashian’s lawyer offered a statement: “I personally on Mr. Kardashian’s behalf apologized and offered our regrets for what has taken place in the past couple of days. And now we move forward to do one thing and one thing only: whatever’s in the best interest of this child.”
Then, in February, Chyna’s lawyers responded after another individual leaked a sex tape said to feature her.
In Mari’s case, social media was making plenty of comments about the images. Some noted the seriousness of the situation.
This Teairra Mari hacking thing is actually horrific. Women are really are not allowed to enjoy sex without being punished for it

I don’t get how people can go out of their way to hurt other people. What sad miserable lives they must lead…some people live their lives doing the absolute least.
