Born in Sonora, Mexico, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter rose to fame thanks to his signature corridos powered by his distinctive raw vocals. Over the last few years, Conriquez, signed to indie Kartel Music, has become a powerhouse, placing over 20 tracks on the Hot Latin Songs chart. Last year, he scored his first Hot 100 entry with “Si No Quieres No,” a collaboration with up-and-comer Netón Vega.
His Corridos Bélicos, Vol. IV, released in January 2024, earned him his first entry and top 10 on any albums chart, debuting at No. 5 on Top Latin Albums and No. 3 on Regional Mexican Albums. It also became Conriquez’s Billboard 200 entrée with a No. 36 debut. He’s also become a go-to collaborator for both regional Mexican and non-regional Mexican artists alike, including Nicky Jam, Ryan Castro and Peso Pluma.
Earlier this year, Conriquez performed a sold-out concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles followed by shows across the U.S. and Mexico. He’s also set to perform at the Bésame Mucho Festival in Austin, Texas on April 5.
