Luke Bryan's Smile Melts Fans' Hearts as He Recalls Meeting ‘Precious’ New Member of the Family

Luke Bryan reminded fans of the deep love he has for his family while talking about its newest member at the ACM Honors earlier this week.

The country music star, an honoree at the annual event held this year at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., walked the red carpet on Wednesday, Aug. 21, when he paused to speak with Country Now. After explaining that his sons, Thomas and Tatum, had busy sports schedules preventing them from attending the ceremony with their dad, his face lit up when he was asked about the brand-new member of his extended family.

Bryan’s niece, Jordan Eudy, recently announced the arrival of her second son, John Collier Eudy, on Instagram. The child, Bryan’s grand-nephew, was born on Aug. 17.

John is “just precious, like, 9 pounds, 6 ounces,” Bryan, 48, told Country Now. He explained that his niece’s first child was born early, and now with John she and her husband are “not having to worry about all of the challenges of having a premature baby.”

Bryan also mentioned that he and his wife, Caroline, had an opportunity to see the newborn earlier this week. “We got down there and got to get some kisses,” he said, flashing another smile at the camera as he thought back to their visit.

Fans who commented on clips of the red carpet interview that Country Now shared on social media congratulated the “Play It Again” singer on his family’s exciting news.

“Congratulations to our country boy that we love so much @lukebryan ??????,” one fan commented on Instagram as another wrote, “????yay Luke!!??congrats!?? ??.”

Bryan is “My favorite person,” one Instagram user declared as a TikToker called him an “??amazing man.”

“He’s so wonderful. Loves his family ?,” another fan gushed.
