Set to enter production in New Zealand in October, The Wrecking Crew centers on a pair of half-brothers — one, a loose-cannon cop (Momoa), and the other, a disciplined Navy SEAL (Bautista). After 20-odd years of bad blood, the duo must work together to unravel the conspiracy behind their father’s murder in Hawaii.

After seeing Bautista and Momoa sell MGM on a pitch following a four-bidder battle in the fall of 2021, as we were first to report, Jonathan Tropper came aboard to pen the script. Lynn Harris and Matt Reeves are producing for 6th & Idaho, along with Bautista, Momoa and Jeffrey Fierson.

Most recently, Peckham has been seen starring in Wes Ball’s 20th Century Studios tentpole Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which grossed over $397M worldwide. Previously guest starring on the series Cowboy Bebop and Mr. Corman, she’ll next be seen in James Vanderbilt’s historical thriller Nuremberg, toplined by Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, and Rami Malek.
