Lynda Carter and daughter are a power pair on the red carpet
No golden lasso is needed to see the true love between Lynda Carter and her daughter, Jessica Altman.
The stunners enjoyed the photo ops at the Super Troopers 2 premiere in New York on Wednesday. The women — with their brunette hair, complementary outfits, and similar lip shades — were truly a power pair as they posed together on the red carpet.
At one point, 27-year-old Jessica, who is a litigation attorney in Washington, D.C., linked her arm through her famous mama’s. They also smooched — both at the event and on social media on the way there.
The women weren’t alone for Lynda’s big night. The original Wonder Woman, who reprises her role as Gov. Jessman in the Super Troopers sequel, brought her whole family, including her husband since 1984, Robert A. Altman, and their 30-year-old son, James. The women let the men have a little time in front of the camera too.
Carter’s second marriage — 34 years! — has been a real love story. She recently opened up about her first, to producer Ron Samuels, which was during the Wonder Woman era. “Don’t marry the first person that proposes to you,” she told Closer Weekly when asked what advice she would give her 20-year-old self. “He was a lot older, and I was just stupid.” As for Robert, she said, “He makes me laugh. When I get into my minutia[e], he brings me off the edge!”
In the same interview, Lynda’s daughter talked about her mom. “Everyone sees her as so regal, glamorous, and beautiful,” Jessica said. “But she is the goofiest, silliest human being by far that I’ve ever met in my entire life.”
Speaking of Wonder Woman, will she or won’t she be in the sequel when Gal Gadot reprises her role in 2019? “That is up to [director] Patty Jenkins,” Carter told Megyn Kelly earlier this week. “I’ve been talking to her about it. She’s given me some hints about it, and I guess it’s up to Warner Bros. if they want to spend the money. … It really is up to Patty, and if it works in an organic way it’ll be great fun, and it’ll be wonderful to do.”
