Maksim Chmerkovskiy, you’re needed back in the ballroom for a very special birthday party!
ABC announced the all-star lineup for its Dancing with the Stars 10th anniversary special planned for April 28. Chmerkovskiy and other fan favorites will return to perform in the episode that will reflect on the show’s last decade – and feature its largest opening number ever, with 46 stars.
Nine Mirrorball Trophy winners are scheduled to appear, including season 18 winners Meryl Davis and Chmerkovskiy, 35, and reigning champs Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson. Other performers include Chelsea Kane, Kristi Yamaguchi, Amy Purdy, Maria Menounos, Amber Riley, Melissa Rycroft and Kelly Monaco.
Lots of former footballers are expected to reappear as well, including Donald Driver, Hines Ward, Kurt Warner, Jacoby Jones, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice.
And, for the first time, DWTS will feature a pregnant dancer! Katherine Jenkins, who competed in the 14th season, is four months pregnant.
“Thankfully I’ve been very active in my pregnancy so far, so when I got the invitation to perform on the show it was too much of a wonderful opportunity to pass up,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Obviously we had to consider certain things with the choreography, but everyone is looking after me and she s getting a lot of attention! Even the wardrobe department have kindly offered to make me a sequin sparkly dress.”
Dancing with the Stars: 10th Anniversary Special will air April 28 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
