According to Variety, David Duchovny, Jack Whitehall, and Carice van Houten have been cast in Malice, Prime Video’s upcoming psychological thriller series.
Duchovny is best known for playing FBI agent Fox Mulder on the groundbreaking sci-fi series The X-Files. Duchovny has not headlined a television series since NBC’s Aquarius from 2015-2016. In 2023, Duchovny appeared in You People, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, and What Happens Later.

van Houten rose to international prominence as Melisandre on Game of Thrones. van Houten received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her work in Game of Thrones Season 8.
What to Expect in Malice?
Malice’s plot details are unknown, but Variety’s sources state the series will “follow a young man (Whitehall) who seeks to infiltrate the world of a wealthy family, with Duchovny and van Houten playing the heads of that family.”
Malice comes from writer and executive producer James Wood, who worked on Hulu’s The Great. Woods wrote the 2017 comedy series Quacks, with Whitehall starring in the lead role. Malice will be a co-production between Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films for Prime Video.
