Marc Anthony, Ginuwine, Krystal Poppin among things do in El Paso
El Paso rapper Krystal Poppin returns to her hometown this weekend to perform at the El Paso Strong Fashion Show. The show is in honor of those who lost their lives in the Walmart shooting in 2019. It will also feature designs by talented El Paso students.
Over in Mescalero, New Mexico, R&B artist Ginuwine will bring his beat to the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino. Tickets are also most sold out so if you have your tickets, consider yourself lucky.
There are tickets still available for Marc Anthony, coming next week to El Paso. So don't delay if you're a fan of the Latin crooner.

New documentary premieres Friday at Plaza Theatre
El Paso's border and immigration issues are front and center in a new documentary, "God Save Texas: La Frontera," that will premiere at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 at the Philanthropy Theater at the Plaza Theatre. The documentary is directed by Austin-based and native El Pasoan Iliana Sosa.

El Paso Zoo offers Leap Year admission discount
The El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens will offer a $2 off admission on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24-25 to guests who dress up in costume. The deal is to celebrate Leap Year, which only happens once a year. Leap Year is Feb. 29.
To receive the discount, costumes or attire need to be any animal or insect that “Leaps” – such as a frog, grasshopper, rabbit, monkey, tiger, mountain lion, or any other leaping animal. Only visitors who dress in costume can receive the discount. Visitors are encouraged to wear full animal costumes or create their own animal outfits.
There will be Zoo animal encounters for families to enjoy, plus all zoo attractions will be open including the Foster Treehouse Playgrounds, and Hunt Family Desert Spring splash pad (weather permitting). For an additional charge, visitors can ride the Hunt Family Endangered Species Carousel and try out the Copper Canyon Ropes Challenge.
Ginuwine
The R&B artist Ginuwine will perform at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. Tickets ranging from $35 to $100, plus fees, are available at Ticketmaster.com.
Coin Show
The International Coin Club of El Paso will have its 60th Annual El Paso Coin Show, from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 at The El Maida Shrine,6331 Alabama St. The event will have 60 different vendors, medals honoring Hueco Tanks and Texas Parks & Wildlife representatives. Free admission.
Warhammer store opening
Warhammer, a store that focuses on the miniature wargame, will have its opening at noon Saturday, Feb. 24, at Birkenstock Attitudes, 5860 N Mesa St.
El Paso Strong Fashion show featuring Krystal Poppin
The El Paso Strong Fashion Show will honor those who lost their lives from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at San Jacinto Plaza, 114 West Mills Ave. It will feature designs by El Paso Community College students and a live performance by El Paso rapper Krystal Poppin at 4 p.m. Food trucks will be present. Free.
High Tea at the Dome
Celebrate your besties with a Galentine's Day celebration over High Tea Feb. 24 at the Dome Bar at the Hotel Paso Del Norte. Indulge in a selection of delicious treats and sip on various teas while enjoying the breathtaking views from The Dome Bar. Tickets are $30 and available eventbrite.com.

Latin singer Marc Anthony will bring his Historia Tour to El Paso with a performance at 8 p.m. March 1 at the Don Haskins Center. Tickets, ranging from $71 to $191, plus fees, are available at Ticketmaster.com.
