Mariah Carey Poses with Twins Moroccan and Monroe While Visiting the Great Wall of China: ‘It Really Is Great’

The five-time Grammy winner also joked that “someone should’ve warned” her not to wear heels to visit the monument

Mariah Carey is making memories with her kids!

On Saturday, Sept. 14, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, 55, shared some snapshots of herself and her 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, posing together on the Great Wall of China in Beijing.

To trek the monument with her two teens — and wrap her arms around them for a cute family pic — the “Fantasy” singer stayed glam in a black dress, butterfly jewelry, oversized sunglasses and heels, which she later regretted, she revealed on X (formerly Twitter).

“At the Great Wall of China! Someone should’ve warned me about heels ??,” Carey wrote alongside three photos from the outing.

She noted she likely still would’ve chosen style over comfort, adding in parenthesis, “not that I would’ve listened.”

Her twins, meanwhile, opted for more casual clothes as they toured the monument, with Moroccan wearing a graphic T-shirt and baggy shorts, and Monroe rocking Olivia Rodrigo tour merch.

Carey captioned the same photos on Instagram with, “It really is great! ??.”

Elsewhere in her photos from the Great Wall, Carey peered over her sunglasses in front of the sprawling monument and threw an arm in the air while sporting a huge grin.

The twins, whom the five-time Grammy winner shares with ex Nick Cannon, have yet to document the trio's excursion on social media — they each have their own Instagram accounts.

They did, however, each feature their mom on their accounts earlier this year, sharing sweet tributes to her on Mother’s Day.

Moroccan marked the holiday with carousel of throwback photos and a lengthy message to his mom that began, “Mom, every moment with you is a precious memory. your love and support have guided me through both tough and great times. the warmth of your hug and your wise words have helped me face challenges with hope.”

Monroe also shared a series of throwback photos to honor her mom on the special day, but she simply captioned her post, "happy mother’s day to the best mom in the world!! ?? @mariahcarey."
