Mariah Carey serenaded her friend Da Brat on her birthday!

Rapper Shawntae Harris-Dupart, better known as Da Brat, turned 50 on April 14, and her longtime collaborator Carey, 55, shared a message for the new mom on the show Dish Nation, which Da Brat co-hosts.

The “We Belong Together” singer started off the pre-recorded video message, which a fan shared on X (formerly Twitter), by singing an unreleased song that Carey said producer L.T. Hutton had “lost.”

“I love you so much, happy birthday. They told me the number. I don't do numbers. I don't know what it is, have no recollection of any of it,” said Carey, who is known to refer to birthdays as “anniversaries,” affectionately referring to Da Brat as “TatTat.”

Carey, who wore a black dress that sparkled in the black-and-white video, concluded the message with, “Just wanted to say I love you so much, you are the world's best. Kisses and love from your BFF.”

A beaming Da Brat replied, “That was beautiful. Oh Sug, I love you, MC.”

Other celebs also wished Da Brat a happy birthday, including Brandy, Lena Waithe and Yandy Smith-Harris and Mendeecees Harris.

The duo has collaborated on remixes of some of Carey's biggest hits like “Always Be My Baby,” “Honey” and “Heartbreaker.”
