Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo Marries Tellef Lundevall in Waterfront Wedding at the Kennedy Compound: All the Photos!

Mariah Kennedy-Cuomo and Tellef Lundevall are married!
The daughter of former New York governor Andrew Cuomo and Kerry Kennedy tied the knot with Lundevall on Saturday, July 20, at the family's waterfront Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, during a weekend celebration that included a sailing race on Friday, July 19, the waterfront wedding ceremony on Saturday and a farewell brunch on Sunday, July 21.
Mariah, 29, wore a strapless Italian tulle gown by Vera Wang for the nuptials, which took place on the lawn overlooking Nantucket Sound in front of 400 guests. The bride's father proudly walked her down the aisle to meet Lundevall where the couple exchanged emotional handwritten vows.
Readings were given by Mariah's mother Kerry, as well as her uncle and godfather Chris Cuomo, and Catie Cole, along with the grooms aunt Hilary Kaplan Loretta and in a sweet touch, Mariah's bridesmaids wore bracelets designed by her sister, Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo.
Following the ceremony, guests dined on Chatham cod, steak and lemon linguine under a tent during the reception, which was catered by The Catered Affair. Andrew Cuomo also gave a heartfelt toast during the reception.
For dessert, Mariah and Lundevall chose a towering 8-tiered wedding cake by Confectionery Designs that featured a lemon pound cake with raspberry cream filling and a chocolate pound cake with vanilla bean filling and fresh strawberries, complemented by a thin layer of lemon curd.

The former governor's close friend, singer Billy Joel and his wife Alexis Roderick were among the guests, and while Joel, 75, did not perform, his song "Just the Way You Are" was played during a father-daughter dance between Mariah and Cuomo. The bride and groom shared their first dance as husband and wife to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."
Guests at the celebrations also included the bride's grandmothers Ethel Kennedy and Matilda Cuomo, her uncle Chris Cuomo and his wife Cristina Cuomo, her aunt Rory Kennedy and Timothy Shriver and her aunt Maria Cuomo Cole and her husband, the fashion designer Kenneth Cole. Former Congressmen Patrick Kennedy, Joseph P. Kennedy II and his son Joseph P. Kennedy III also attended.
Groom Lundevall is Norwegian Jewish and as a meaningful touch, the couple married under a chuppah that honored the families who were joining together.
The four wooden poles that were used in the chuppah structure included one brought back from Ireland for the Kennedys, one from Italy for the Cuomos, one from Norway for one side of Lundevall's family and one from New York as the fourth.

Ahead of the couple's nuptials, the couple honored also their family during pre-wedding celebrations. Lundevall proposed in Sicily in Nov. 2023, where Mariah's grandmother Matilda Cuomo's family is from. The bride also held held her bachelorette party in Ireland in honor of the Kennedys.
The wedding was planned by TaylorMade Experience, while florals were overseen by Bloom of Cape Cod. Stationery was supplied by Weldon Design and PaperKate Co. The bride and her bridal party's glam was by by Sarah Depault Beauty.
Ahead of the Saturday ceremony, a sailing race was held on Friday, followed by welcome drinks and a rehearsal dinner, where guests dined on lobster by the water. Many of the couple's 18 bridesmaids and groomsmen gave speeches in honor of the bride and groom during the celebratory gathering.
On Sunday, guests were invited to a brunch which marked the couple's final farewell before they left for a honeymoon in Bora Bora.

Their three-day wedding celebration comes after the couple got engaged in November 2023, having been together for more than five years before the proposal. Both attended Brown University, which is where the pair first connected.
"The ceremony was all about love from start to finish, Maiah told Vogue of the nuptials. I felt overjoyed, peaceful, blessed, loved, and complete."
To pull off the proposal, Lundevall surprised Kennedy-Cuomo when he flew into Sicily during her family's Thanksgiving vacation, Page Six reported. Her father and sisters, Cara and Michaela, also were on the trip.

Lundevall popped the question after the sun came out on a rainy morning on an ocean cliffside near the Pools of Venus with a gorgeous square-cut diamond. "That's amore!" Kennedy-Cuomo captioned an Instagram post sharing the news of their engagement.
Lundevall had moved in with the Cuomo family during the COVID-19 pandemic. The former governor mentioned him in press conferences at the time, referring to him as "the boyfriend."
He is currently the CEO of the Accelerated Digital Media agency, according to his LinkedIn, and Kennedy-Cuomo is the CEO and founder of Socrates Social, a social media advisory firm.
