Mark Ruffalo leaks video from all-star Marvel reunion
Has Mark Ruffalo gone rogue? On Saturday, the Incredible Hulk actor spilled the beans on a Marvel Cinematic Universe photo shoot that featured just about every star from every Marvel superhero franchise. It’s the kind of unannounced, behind-the-scenes event that Disney usually keeps on lockdown — which is likely why one of Ruffalo’s live videos was already removed from social media, according to Movie Pilot. Nevertheless, one video and a few other actors’ photos are still online, giving fans a glimpse of the star wattage at what Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter in the Captain America film) hashtagged #marvelreunionparty.
Mark Ruffalo’s Facebook live video — the one that wasn’t deleted — shows the actor palling around with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Evangeline Lilly (the Wasp), and Paul Bettany (Vision) on what appears to be a large soundstage. He posted the video on Saturday, shortly after writing “MCU photo shoot” as his Facebook update.
That same day, Atwell posted a picture of a photo-booth strip on Instagram, featuring herself, Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, and kissing bandit Bettany.

On Sunday, Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) posted a group image of himself, Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Anthony Mackie (the Falcon), and Laurence Fishburne (Bill Foster in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp).

Finally, Karen Gillan posted an Instagram pic of herself and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 co-star Pom Klementieff, all dressed up for the photo shoot.

Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Vin Diesel (Groot), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), and Benedict Wong (Wong) were also spotted at the event, along with Avengers: Infinity War co-director Joe Russo. So was this simply a promotion for Infinity War (in theaters May 2018), which features a giant cast assembled from all of Marvel’s previous adventures? Was everyone getting together for the Thor: Ragnarok premiere on Tuesday? Or was the gathering held in anticipation of something bigger — perhaps the announcement of a new phase for the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Right now it’s anybody’s guess, but it seems that we can trust the Hulk to keep us in the loop.
