“Heroic stories are more than just escapism—they are a call to action,” said Andrew Slack, creative director of Heroes 4 Harris, in a statement. “By uniting those who embody heroism on screen with those who fight for justice in real life, we are underscoring the power of these narratives to inspire and mobilize Americans to be heroes for Harris. This event is a testament to our collective strength and determination to support Kamala Harris and ensure a brighter, more equitable future for all.”

Emceed by Baratunde Thurston, the event will also feature Congressman Adam Schiff, Bill McKibben, Ai-jen Poo, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman and local hero Joyce Jones.

After launching last month at the Democratic National Convention, Heroes 4 Harris hopes to harness fandom energy in support of Harris and running mate Tim Walz, with Sunday’s Kamala-Con aiming to mobilize voters and raise money for the campaign.

Meanwhile, Broadway for Harris is hosting weekly phone banking on Mondays and canvassing trips to Pennsylvania on Saturdays, leading up to the Nov. 5 Election Day. The events will feature the casts and creatives of Broadway‘s Suffs, The Notebook, Back to the Future and BOOP!, as well as Ilana Glazer, Brandon Flynn, Jelani Alladin, Alex Edelman, Benj Pasek, Cameron Kasky and more.

Lynda Carter is also hosting Geeks & Nerds for Harris‘ organizing call on Sept. 24 along with activist Sabrina Cartan, the livestream featuring Stacey Abrams, Yvette Nicole Brown, LeVar Burton, Misha Collins, Jon Cryer, Felicia Day, Patty Jenkins, Matthew Modine, Bill Nye, Robert Picardo, Anthony Rapp, Jeri Ryan and George Takei.

Harris and Trump are scheduled to debate Sept. 10 on ABC, followed by a CBS News vice presidential debate between Walz and J.D. Vance on Oct. 1.
