Marlon Wayans' Home 'Burglarized' by Robbers, But They Didn't Get Away With Much
Independence Day is a time for celebration for many Americans. Actor and comedian Marlon Wayans, however, didn't exactly have the best holiday this year.
In an Instagram video shared July 4, Wayans revealed that his home was invaded by "robbers" who tried to make off with as much as they could. Luckily, they didn't escape with too many valuables, simply because Wayans doesn't own many.
"I was burglarized," he said after thanking everyone who checked in on him. "I want you to know that they didn't really get much, because I don't own s--t. The most valuable thing in my house is my house. So unless you're going to put that s--t on a truck and drag it away, then yeah, man, you did well. But I don't own s--t."
"I don't wear jewelry," he continued. As for the ring on his finger, he pointed out that it's an Oura Ring he uses to track his heart rate, not some expensive gold piece. "That's all. I don't own s--t. I'm not flashy. No jewelry, no necklaces. I don't have cash; I use credit cards."
"I'm the wrong n---a to rob!" he concluded. "Go down the block. There's a lot of flashy n---as out there."

He emphasized just how pared-down of a life he lives in the post's caption.
"Everyone is fine. I’m grateful," he said. "Dear robbers and others, I am the wrong n---a to rob. Save your energy. I don’t have anything valuable in my house except my house. Sorry, I live a simple life with two cats and one of them is a 1994 Range Rover; you will need a jumpstart if you steal it because the battery is dead."
"Robbers, don’t waste your energy or your life doing home invasions. S--t is too heavy!!! You want to carry all that bulls--t? Throw your back out, and for what?!" he added. "I repeat: I don’t own s--t [that's] valuable. I don’t have a bunch of cash or jewelry. Please pick a better target."
If you do have valuables in your home, you might want to look into insuring them just in case.
