Marsha Ambrosius Releases New Album ‘Casablanco’
Grammy-nominated artist Marsha Ambrosius released her new album titled ‘Casablanco’ on Friday, 28th June. This is her first studio album since 2018.
Dr Dre has produced this album, which consists of eleven tracks, including the recent singles that were released by him, namely, ‘One Night Stand’ and ‘The Greatest.’ Ambrosius and Dre collaborated on some tracks that Dre was working on; that is how they decided to do a project together.
Marsha Ambrosius- ‘Casablanco’
This year has been great for the singer, Ambrosius. She kicked off the year with her newly released single titled ‘The Greatest’. The track was featured a lot in ESPN’s Heisman Trophy promos.
The other track of the album, ‘One Night Stand’ is an atmospheric soul track that is a story about a romance where no commitments are made, something wherein no strings are attached.
The 11-tracked project consists of songs that are curated very thoughtfully. The album includes the sounds of Jazz, R&B, and soul with a modern twist and uses a big band, which produces swing sounds thus the name ‘Casablanco’. The theme of the album is basically a blend that takes place when classic sound comes together with modern music.
