Matt Damon role call on James Corden's Late Late Show
If you’re going to have an accomplished actor on your show, what better way to showcase his career than by recounting it in less than 10 minutes?
Having already acted out every movie in which Tom Hanks and Arnold Schwarzenegger have starred, James Corden was joined by Matt Damon on Tuesday night’s Late Late Show to reenact films as early in Damon’s career as School Ties to as recent as his upcoming film The Martian — the latter having an unknowing Corden pretend to be an alien. “I haven’t seen the movie yet. The Martian doesn’t come out until Friday,” Corden told Damon.
Some of the best moments came from the quick transitions necessary for the segment. Dressed in golf gear, Corden and Damon acted out The Legend of Bagger Vance, Corden giving sage advice to Damon then immediately pulling a gun out of his golf clubs to turn it into The Departed.

The host and actor hurried through Damon’s trilogies with quick one-line plot synopses.
For the Ocean’s movies: “Let’s rob a casino.” “Let’s rob a mansion on Lake Como.” “Let’s rob more casinos!”
For the Bourne movies: “I’m Jason Bourne!” “I’m Jason Bourne.” “I’m still Jason Bourne.” Damon punched Corden after each line.
