Media Rights Agent Rich Green Leaves ICM Partners To Join The Gotham Group
EXCLUSIVE: Media rights agent Rich Green has joined The Gotham Group after four years at ICM Partners. He will continue to rep IP for TV and film. Green joined ICM Partners in 2014 before being named the head of their Media Rights department last year.
“Rich has been an incredibly valuable team player for ICM for many years, with an exceptional eye for compelling intellectual property and its value in the media ecosystem,” said ICM Partners in a statement to Deadline. “Although we hate to see him leave, we are confident that we’ll work closely with him for the years to come and we look forward to doing so.”
Gotham CEO Ellen Goldsmith-Vein noted: “We couldn’t be happier to have Rich join the Gotham family. He has exceptional relationships and a keen eye for talent and great IP. We look forward to being able to continue to serve writers, directors and talent with an even broader base of great material.”
Prior to ICM Partners, the well-respected and well-known Green had worked at Jeff Berg’s Resolution agency until it folded, worked nine years at CAA and before that was at UTA. He is considered a powerhouse in securing film and TV rights for books.
The move to The Gotham Group (The Maze Runner franchise) seems like a great fit for Green as TGG is one of the best book-to-screen producers in the industry right now with significant properties in development or on their way on both the big and small screen.
