Meek Mill Offers $100K Reward To Clear His Name Amid Diddy Investigation
In the wake of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent federal arrest, Meek Mill is stepping up with a bold offer: $100,000 to fund an investigation aimed at clearing his name of any false claims related to the case.
The Philly rapper is frustrated with how the media and social media users have linked him to the unfolding drama. “I wanna hire an investigative team, 100K cash, to find out every specific detail involving Meek Mill’s name in the ‘Diddy’ case,” he declared on X on Monday (Sept. 24).
The hitmaker is also keen to uncover who’s behind the media narratives, adding, “I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘meek’ anything to do with buddy! Something not right.”
Insisting on his integrity, he stated, “The streets know wassup with me, that’s not the case. We talking about the business side. Somebody powering these bad campaigns with Meek Mill again. I got 100K for a thorough investigation of who’s powering and how exactly my name got connected to this.”
With a passionate plea, he criticized the media landscape, vowing to not let their coverage outweigh his own narrative. “Fake a** publications ran stories. I got like a 100 million followers worldwide. I’m not letting media override my voice! It’s kids watching me from Africa … UK … etc.”
Meek Mill’s has been vocal regarding his dealings with Combs following claims made by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones in his lawsuit against the mogul. According to Jones’ suit, Combs allegedly told him that he had a physical relationship with “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.” This led some to surmise that Meek Mill was the rapper in question, being that he famously dated NIcki Minaj between 2015 and 2017. Meek has vehemently denied the charge.
However, given Meek Mill and Combs are seen as close confidants due to their public association, some took the opportunity to fuel that speculation, while others jokingly mocked the rappers’ sexuality being in question.
Prior to Meek Mill’s six-figure offer to clear his name, he released a new single, “ROBBIE SON,” a drop he celebrated on social media, as it marks his first official release solely owned by Dream Chaser Records.
