Three years after she jumped on the remix for BTS‘ smash “Butter,” Megan Thee Stallion has linked back up with the band’s leader, RM. Stream their latest collaboration, “Neva Play,” now.

“Money talkin’, it’s my first language/ Me and RM gangin’,” she raps before RM jumps in. “Me and Megan on the way/ For Asia, man, we paved the way,” he says confidently. The anime-inspired video sees the two brought to life in animated form.

Rumors of a swap deal have been swirling since the Hot Girl Coach first lent a verse to BTS’ Grammy-nominated track, which she also performed live with the band during their first run of post-Covid shows in the US. After teasing a new song by sharing a purple heart emoji last week, ARMY knew their time had finally come.

“This is one of my favorite RM verses I’ve heard!” she shared via Twitter. “I’ve never heard him rap in this style before.”

RM recorded his verse prior to departing for his mandatory enlistment period in the South Korean military, which is currently scheduled to come to an end in June 2025. “Neva Play” joins the ranks of other pre-recorded material prepared by the rapper, which includes a full sophomore solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person; this week, a documentary about the making of the LP was announced to be premiering at the Busan Film Festival in Korea.

Currently, Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up to host and perform at the VMAs, which is set for September 11th. Earlier this week, she rolled out a Pepsi ad to kick off football season that also serves as a promo for the upcoming movie Gladiator II.
