Meghan Markle’s Latest Rebrand Indicates That Her Full Relaunch Is Just Around the Corner

If there’s one thing royal experts and fans of Meghan Markle can all agree on, is that the Duchess of Sussex is preparing for a major comeback. After all, while her highly-publicized terminated contract with Spotify made rounds around the world, Markle, and her husband Prince Harry, have quite a few projects in the works.

Most recently, Markle proved that her relaunch is about to take flight as she rebranded her podcast, Archetypes, with her new partner, Lemonada Media.

“The Duchess of Sussex and Lemonada Media are thrilled to share that The Duchess’ award-winning podcast Archetypes is now available to stream on all audio platforms,” the partners announced on the Sussexes’ new website. Prior to the move, Archetypes, which was developed under the Sussexes’ contract with Spotify was only available in their platform. Now, the episodes, which include special guests like Paris Hilton, Mindy Kaling, Mariah Carey, Serena Williams, and many more, are available on Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Podcasts.

“The series, which has seen over 10 million downloads, investigates, dissects, and subverts the labels that try to hold women back,” the description continued. “These singular discussions – with notable women, friends, comedians, activists, historians, and experts – transcend individual episodes for a dynamic cultural conversation about how women can reject, reclaim, and redefine these archetypes, on their own terms.”

In addition to releasing the podcast on other platforms, the cover image for the show has also undergone a major transformation. The initial cover image for Spotify included a black and white picture of Markle surrounded by a bright green background. The title of the show was then written over Markle’s arms with light green writing.

In the new image, instead of a green background, the whole image has been given a pink hue and the text is seen over her head in light pink.

And while the images are similar, after all they’re both using the same image of Markle, we can appreciate the effort to separate themselves for the previous project. New me, new image, right?

Prior to the rebrand, sources teased what season two of Archetypes would look like. “[Markle] wants to do mostly philanthropic-type content,” a source told Us Weekly. “She considers herself too academic for entertainment only. She doesn’t want the podcast to be celebrity-driven, though she’ll have some stars on.”

With a rebrand now in full force, we can’t wait for the next chapter of this royal comeback!
