Meghan McCain Rips ‘Aunt Becky’s Husband’ for Cheap Shot at ASU
Meghan McCain is standing up to defend the Sun Devils after the university was mentioned by Lori Loughlin‘s husband, in the college bribery case, as a place he wanted to avoid at all costs!
“To Aunt Becky’s husband who talked shit about ASU- The @McCainInstitute for International Leadership does incredible work w/ students in cooperation with ASU,” “The View” co-host said on Tuesday afternoon. She then added, “I guarantee those students involved will go on to do great things in the world and didn’t have to lie to get there.”
Boom.
As we reported, Mossimo Giannulli sent an email, while allegedly setting up the scam to get his daughters into USC, writing, “I’d like to maybe sit with you after your session with the girls as I have some concerns and want to fully understand the game plan and make sure we have a roadmap for success as it relates to (our daughter) and getting her into a school other than ASU!”
The McCain Institute for International Leadership is a Washington D.C. based research center in cooperation with ASU. It was named after Meghan’s late father, Senator John McCain.
Even though the comment by Giannulli was unnecessary, ASU got the last laugh as the famous designer was charged with mail fraud and had his bail set at $1 million.
His wife, “Fuller House” star Lori Loughlin, will surrender to authorities today for her turn in court.
