Meghan Trainor Tries Out the Sock and Slingback Trend While at The iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2024 in Los Angeles
Meghan Trainor owned the stage for KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2024 held over the weekend in Los Angeles. The performer donned two different looks to celebrate the season with a bang.
Trying her hand at the socks-with-heels trend, the “Me Too” singer popped on black faux-fur-trimmed ankle socks paired with contrasting bright red slingback pumps. The musician’s footwear choice featured glossy patent leather uppers accompanied by sharp pointed toes. Thin but secure slingback straps gave way to short and walkable 1 to 2-inch kitten heels.

For those looking to channel Trainor’s holiday-ready footwear moment, brands like Christian Louboutin, Gianvito Rossi, Jimmy Choo, Miu Miu and Prada all feature comparable silhouettes for a range of prices and sizes. The sock with slingback styling trick was preppy and kitschy, amplifying the whimsical nature of her footwear.
For her performance post-red carpet, the “Made You Look” songstress sported a pair of stark white knee-high booties, also seemingly made of glossy patent leather. Partnered with rhinestoned tights, Trainor’s footwear included zip-up closures up the sides, rounded toes and 2 to 3-inch block heels. The block heel allowed the musician to perform a wide range of movements while traversing the stage.
With her pumps, Trainor wore a faux-fur set in red partnered with a graphic tee hailing from Vaquera and silver sequin micro shorts. While on stage, the songwriter wore a similarly festive look in all-white featuring a rhinestoned corsetted top and a flouncy drawstring skirt. A sheer mesh feather-trimmed cardigan and an oversized faux-fur hat finished off her look.
