Meryl Streep recently broke her own record as the most-nominated actress in Golden Globes history.
On Dec. 11, Streep earned a 2024 Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress, Television, for her role in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” with the nod becoming her 33rd Golden Globe nomination. Although her acting roles range from drama to comedy, romance and even action, when it comes to her red carpet fashion, Streep has adhered to minimalist, elegant ensembles from brands including Givenchy, Dior and Carolina Herrera.

2003
Meryl Streep channeled peak Y2k gltiz and glamour at the 2003 Golden Globe Awards, arriving in a blinged-out blazer. Coordinating her sparkling look with a black maxiskirt, the actress secured a Golden Globe Award for her role in the film “Adaptation.”
2007
Streep wore a gold off-the shoulder Carolina Herrera gown to the 2007 Golden Globes, which featured a Grecian-inspired belt tied around her bodice. There, she earned a Golden Globe award for her role as Miranda Priestly in the film “The Devil Wears Prada.”
2012
Streep donned a black Alessandra Rich gown to the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. From the designer’s spring 2011 collection, the shirtdress featured western elements, including gold embroidery on her chest. At the awards, the actress scooped a Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama award for her performance in “The Iron Lady.”
2017
As the recipient of the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award, Streep made a shining arrival at the 2017 Golden Globes in a Givenchy gown. The custom ensemble featured mosaic-like, multicolored decal attachments decorating her shoulders.
2020
Streep posed alongside fellow stars Saoirse Ronan and “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig in a metallic Dior gown. Collaborating with stylist Micaela Erlanger, her haute couture number featured green lamé fabric and a V-neckline.
