Michael Greco Named EVP Programming And Research At Discovery Channel
Discovery Channel has promoted Michael Greco to EVP programming and research. In his expanded role, Greco will oversee program strategy and long- and short-term planning for Discovery Channel’s primetime, daytime and late-night programming. Greco will report to Rich Ross, President, Discovery Channel. He most recently served as SVP Research at Discovery Channel, where he planned and directed all programming, marketing, brand, and audience research connected with Discovery Channel. Greco will continue to oversee research for the network.
Greco came to Discovery in 2013 from A+E Networks, where he was responsible for research across A&E, History, Lifetime Television, and more. Prior to his time at A+E Networks, Greco held the position of SVP, Research at MTV, where he oversaw the primary and secondary research across all MTV brands, including MTV, MTV2 and MTV.com.
