Michael Phelps Makes His Angry Face While Lip-Syncing Eminem
His palms may have been sweaty, knees weak and arms heavy before, but you probably couldn’t tell because he was in the pool. Now if Michael Phelps has the urge to vomit his mom’s spaghetti on his sweater or something, you’re going to notice.
Thankfully, that didn’t happen for the 23-time gold medalist during “Lip Sync Battle: All Stars LIVE” on Sunday. The Olympian and notable angry face meme creator may have been nervous, but on the surface he looked calm and ready while lip-syncing to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”
It wasn’t easy. Phelps faced lip-syncing legends such as John Legend, Terry Crews and Olivia Munn, who brought out the swimmer’s fellow Olympians, the Final Five’s Simone Biles and Aly Raisman, for a performance of Sia’s “Cheap Thrills.”
Eventually, the Real Slim Shady did stand up to take home the win. With the new championship hardware, Phelps’ next challenge is likely losing himself in DIY shows to add more shelf space in his house.
