Michelle Monaghan Sparkles in Logomania Valentino Sequin Minidress in ‘The White Lotus’ Season Three’s New Episode

Michelle Monaghan’s character added a new piece to her wardrobe in the second episode of “The White Lotus” season three, which aired on Sunday and is available to stream on Max. Monaghan plays Jaclyn, an actress who takes a trip to the titular luxury resort with childhood best friends Kate (Leslie Bibb) and Laurie (Carrie Coon).

While the trio of characters is out enjoying some drinks in the most recent episode of the Emmy-winning series, Monaghan’s Jaclyn sports a shimmering Valentino minidress. The look is ideal for the Thailand setting of the third season, featuring warm, summery hues of blues, pinks and yellows along with all-over sequins and a slightly plunging neckline.

At another point during the episode, Monaghan’s character wears the all-over toile iconographe print short sleeve shirt while hanging out poolside. The dress and Valentino shirt are wholly evocative of the type of affluent class Mike White’s series scrutinizes.

The series’ Emmy-nominated costume designer, Alex Bovaird, not only selected pieces ideal for each character in the series, but also went an extra step to draw attention to the popular series’ costuming. Bovaird worked in tandem with certain fashion brands to elevate “The White Lotus” Season Three costume design.

In the premiere episode of Season Three, Bovarid’s working relationship with New York City cult-favorite brand Tombolo were on display. “From the get-go, working together has felt really natural because both ‘The White Lotus’ and Tombolo have always blended escapism with self-aware humor,” a statement from the brand regarding the partnership with Bovaird said.

“There’s so much overlap which makes for very fertile ground for creative collaboration. The partnership emerged organically and has grown from season to season as we have gotten to know each other better,” the brand’s statement continued.

“The White Lotus” Season Three follows a group of strangers vacationing at the titular luxury resort in the week before a shocking murder. New episodes of the series debut on HBO and Max Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
