Michelle Obama is back at the podium for Kamala Harris. The former First Lady took the stage on Saturday at the Democratic presidential candidate’s campaign rally in Kalamazoo, Mich., wearing a Theory pantsuit that came with a playful twist. The single-button black blazer featured a slim-fit silhouette and was coordinated with trousers, both pieces matched with dynamic bronze tortoiseshell prints.

She wore her hair in braids and embraced a nude lip and shimmering eyeshadow. Obama made a subtle, symbolic style statement with touches of Democrat-blue seen reflecting on yellow gold hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher and matching blue nail polish that illuminated from the diamonds on her wedding ring.
Obama gave an emotional speech ahead of introducing Harris, emphasizing potential outcomes if Harris doesn’t win a seat in the Oval Office. She touched on topics such as police brutality, equity, voting rights and women’s health — urging “men who have no clue” to understand the complexities behind women’s health issues and their right to bodily autonomy.
On Friday, her husband Barack Obama joined Harris at a rally in Georgia. Michelle’s appearance comes after sharing on Instagram on Thursday that she voted by mail, posting a photo of her mail-in ballot while wearing a Balmain cardigan. It followed a series of events where she donned contemporary, fresh looks, including a Versace Barocco blazer at “The Wonder of Stevie” party in early October; and a Versace blazer at George Clooney’s Albie Awards in September.
At the Democratic National Convention, she chose a Monse crisscross jacket from the brand’s resort 2025 collection. There, she officially gave her endorsement for Harris in an opening speech. “Yes, Kamala and Tim are doing great now. We’re loving it, they’re packing arenas across the country, folks are energized. We are feeling good. But remember there are still so many people who are desperate for a different outcome,” Obama said. “So no matter how good we feel tonight or tomorrow or the next day this is going to be an uphill battle. This is up to us, all of us, to be the solution that we seek. It’s up to us to remember what Kamala’s mother told her: ‘Don’t just sit around and complain. Do something,’” she added.
Other boldface names have been lending their voices for Harris. On Friday, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Jessica Alba and Willie Nelson supported the Vice President at a rally in Texas.
