Michiana Festival of Beers features breweries, food trucks and live music in rain or shine
SOUTH BEND — MEGA Homebrew for Humanity present the Michiana Festival of Beers from 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, 501 W. South St.
Planned by the Michiana Extract and Grain Association (MEGA), which is a local homebrew club, this annual outdoor craft beer sampling festival features regional craft beer with all profits going to local charities.
This year’s charity is Resale to the Rescue.
In addition to beer from more than 30 regional breweries, the event includes cideries, meaderies, three homebrew clubs, food trucks and live music by Tongue Tied.
Attendees will receive a commemorative 5 oz. sampling mug and can visit all the brewery booths for sampling.
The event is rain or shine.
Tickets are $50 for VIP early entry, $30 for advance general admission, $40 at the door and $5 for designated drivers.
