Mindy Kaling Emmys Red Carpet Looks: Photos
Nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series five years in a row for The Office, Mindy Kaling has attended the Emmy Awards nearly every year since 2006. While she did take a multi-year hiatus as she adjusted to her new life as a parent of one, then two, Kaling returned to the red carpet in 2021 in an elegant Carolina Herrara look that had our jaws on the floor.
She’s worn other big names throughout the years, including Salvador Perez and St. John, and she’s experimented with color more often than not, which is always exciting to see on the red carpet. Giving Greek Goddess (2012)
Wearing a draping, muted jade-colored St. John gown with gold detailing at the waist, Kaling channeled her inner Greek goddess at the 2012 Emmy Awards. Her deep berry lip color complimented the green tone of her gown perfectly.
Little Black Dress (2010)
In a little black dress that said “’80s prom, but make it cute,” Kaling looked pretty and playful with her hair piled atop her head in 2010.
Pop of Pink (2010)
Attending the 2010 Sublime Primetime event spotlighting Emmy-nominated writers, Kaling donned a business professional ensemble comprised of a fitted black skirt, modest black pumps, and a bell-sleeved blouse with a pretty pink shift effect.
Attention on the Accessories (2010)
At the 2010 Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Writers Peer Group Emmy Celebration, Kaling again wore a subtle but attractive business professional look, this time a white, long-sleeved dress with statement earrings and intricate sandals.
Billowing Beauty (2009)
Looking pretty in another prom-style dress (it was cute for 2009, okay?), Kaling wore a flowing, periwinkle-colored number by Alice Temperley with geometric-patterned detailing at the waist.
