Mindy Kaling Styles Floral-print Zimmermann Dress and Denim Valentino Look for Meghan Markle’s Netflix Show
Mindy Kaling is among the slew of special guests featured in Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series “With Love, Meghan,” which debuted on the streaming service Tuesday. In the series, the “Running Time” cocreator chats with the Duchess of Sussex, styling a few designer pieces to boot.
During one moment in a segment of the eight-episode lifestyle series, Kaling sports a denim look courtesy of Valentino. The writer and producer sports a denim-on-denim look that features a button-up denim collard shirt with rolled up sleeves, featuring the Valentine gold “V” on a breast pocket. Kaling also added a belt to her look and accessorized with gold jewelry.

In another moment during the installment, Kaling switches out her denim for a floral dress courtesy of Zimmermann. The floral-print linen and silk-blend gauze midi dress features a bustier-style bodice with semi-exposed boning and a few fabric ruffles.
The dress included a cinched waist with a belt for added definition to the silhouette. The skirt of the look flared out for a retro-inspired silhouette. Along the base pink fabric of the dress is a pattern of cascading flowers in various shades of blue, white and pink.
For her part, Meghan Markle continued her quiet luxury style streak, wearing linen trousers, a short-sleeve knit sweater in a shade of mocha and a striped cream and mocha sweater overtop her shoulders. The Duchess of Sussex later matched Kaling’s floral dress with her own sleeveless floral frock.
Markle’s new Netflix series debuted on Tuesday and features the Duchess of Sussex and founder of the defunct online lifestyle destination “The Tig” sharing her insights on food, decorating and more. The series premiere coincides with the forthcoming launch of Markle’s new lifestyle brand “As Ever.”

Thanks to our amazing crew and the team [at Netflix],” Markle wrote in the caption to her Jan. 2 Instagram post featuring the trailer for the show. “Beyond grateful for the support — and fun.”
