Miyagi-Do Takes on World in Official ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6’s Part 2 Trailer
The Miyagi-Do find their way to Barcelona for the fight of their lives during the Sekai Taikai tournament in the official trailer for the second part of Netflix’s Cobra Kai season six, which dropped on Wednesday.
But not all goes to plan, as sensei Johnny Lawrence, played by William Zabka, has his hands full getting his karate students motivated to battle to become world champions. “We’re Miyagi-Do. We’re not losing … So wipe the smirks off their ugly faces,” Lawrence tells the students after stand-outs like Hawk (Jacob Bertrand), Devon (Oona O’Brien) and Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo) take a beating during early tournament competition.

“The first thing that you’re going to notice is we’re not in the Valley anymore. It’s a totally different environment. The competitive space is different from previous All Valley tournaments. There’s no crowd watching. This is a karate temple that they’re going to, where the only people in attendance are black belts or karate masters,” Hayden Schlossberg, who co-created the show with Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz, told Tudum about season six, part two.
The second of a three-part final season of Cobra Kai introduces Lewis Tan (Deadpool v. Wolverine, Mortal Kombat) as Sensei Wolf, Patrick Luwis as Awel Kovacevic and Rayna Vallandingham, in her acting debut, plays Zara Malik.
The TV adaptation of the 1984 hit movie The Karate Kid also stars Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, Martin Kove as John Kreese and Xolo Maridue?a as Miguel Diaz. The final five-episode run for Cobra Kai‘s last season is set for 2025, with no premiere date yet announced.
The series is produced by Counterbalance Entertainment. Will Smith, James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett executive produce for Westbrook Studios, along with Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television. Macchio and Zabka also serve as executive producers.
