'The Mountain' has a son; 'Game of Thrones' Hafthor Julius Bj?rnsson welcomes 'healthy, strong' baby
"The Mountain" from "Game of Thrones" is father to a "strong" newborn son.
Hafthor Julius Bj?rnsson, the 6-foot-9, 420-pound Icelandic strongman who played Sir Gregor Clegane, "The Mountain," on HBO's "Game of Thrones," announced Sunday that his wife Kelsey Henson had given birth to a boy.
Bj?rnsson was profoundly moved by the event, giving a detailed play-by-play for the Saturday birth on Instagram.
"After an extremely hard 2 hours and 19 mins of pushing our healthy, strong, beautiful boy arrived," he wrote, saying the baby weighed over 7 pounds.
Henson wrote on her Instagram account, "Our beautiful baby boy made his grand entrance into the world at 11:19 AM on September 26th 2020 after a short and intense six hours."
"The birth was the most powerful, life-changing, empowering thing I’ve ever done in my entire life. We are all doing well and settling in at home as three!"

Bj?rnsson is keeping the child's name under wraps for now.
"We have decided on a name and cannot wait to share it with you all soon," he wrote.
He has a daughter, Theresa Líf, with his ex-girlfriend Thelma Bj?rk Steimann.
"To finish the most beautiful, awe-inspiring labour was the most wonderful phone call to my daughter to introduce her to her new little brother," Bj?rnsson wrote.
In May, Bj?rnsson showed his brawn with a world deadlift record, raising 501 kilograms (1,104.52 pounds) off the ground
