Neil Patrick Harris Introduces Adorable Yellow Lab Puppy With a Very Sophisticated Name
On September 4 the Harris-Burtka family announced their newest addition in the form of an absolutely adorable yellow Labrador puppy.
Harris tagged his husband David Burtka in the post and added, "Thanks @dbelicious for bringing her into our lives!" He also shared the tiny pup's name, which is a very demure, very sophisticated, very classy name for such a tiny girl!

Neil Patrick Harris captioned his Instagram post and video with, "Introducing Bianca Burtka-Harris, the newest member of our family. She is brimming with love, and chewing up everything. We’re obsessed. Thanks @dbelicious for bringing her into our lives!"
Bianca! Bianca is such a big name for such a little girl! It's so cute and I am sure she will grow into it. The sweet photos show the puppy relaxing in the pool, in a wheelbarrow and enjoying some vegetables in the garden. I don't blame them one bit, I'm obsessed too!

Fans are loving the newest family member in the comments and one person said they have a special connection to the pup with, "We have her sister Sabrina! We met Bianca when we went to see our pup, she played so nice with our grandkids. This is our second dog from Josie, just great dogs!" Another added, "Looks like a lab? If it is just wait for the raptor phase when it comes to chewing on stuff!" Someone else hilariously said, "I think her name will be 'no' for awhile."
That's so true, puppies are notorious for hearing the word 'no' a lot. It's pretty special that they added a new pup to their family because earlier this summer they lost one of their most beloved fur babies.
Bianca is Welcome News After Tragedy Struck
On Wednesday, July 17, Neil Patrick Harris shared a horrible and heartbreaking entry into his Wondercade newsletter that his beautiful Golden Retriever named Ella died in a freak accident.
A close friend of the Harris-Burtka family had been dog and housesitting for the couple when Ella tragically passed away after getting a stick entangled in her collar. Ella was just four year old when she died.
It was such tragic news and such a freak accident and the family was so heartbroken that it's nice to see them having some joy in their lives, all in the form of a tiny little puppy with such a big girl name.
Here's hoping Bianca continues to bring sunshine into their lives and the memory of their sweet Bella continues to be a blessing.
