Nick Kroll, Jordan Peele, and James Corden Relive Their Boy Band Past
On Thursday’s The Late Late Show With James Corden, Jordan Peele, Nick Kroll, and Corden shocked us all with their little-known boy band past. The three starred in a mockumentary about their career as a boy band that covered songs from other boy bands. Kroll explained, “We took existing boy band songs, cut through all the innuendo, and just got to the heart of what the songs were really about: hardcore sex.”
Collectively, they were Thr33way, and they covered Backstreet Boys’ “I Want it That Way” but turned it into “I Want a Threeway.” They also turned “Quit Playing Games With My Heart” into “Quit Playing Games With My Penis.” After singing childishly crude songs like “MMMBoobs” and “Tearing Up My Butt,” it was revealed that, at the time, all of the men were virgins.
Let’s hope for a reunion tour and a residency in Las Vegas for Thr33way.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
