Nick Lachey enjoys Labor Day weekend at Kings Island, rides Diamondback

Nick Lachey returned home for Labor Day weekend.

The boy band star from 98 Degrees spent the day Sunday at Kings island, the Mason amusement park confirmed with a photo of Lachey riding the Diamondback roller coaster. The Cincinnati native appeared to be sitting next to his oldest son, Camden.

Lachey, who attended the School for Creative & Performing Arts in Over-the-Rhine, also worked at Kings Island as a teenager.

"I was in a barbershop quartet, so I started off singing a cappella barbershop music, walking around the park and singing to guests," Lachey said in a 2013 interview, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The singer-turned-TV host took advantage of one of the park's finals days of regular operation for the year, as, after Monday, it will close the next two weekends. Kings Island will reopen for Halloween Haunt Sept. 20.
